Herein we report a case of kaposiform hemangioendothelioma with chest wall deformity in an adult who did not show the Kasabach-Merritt phenomenon or cutaneous lesions. To our knowledge, this is the first case of asymptomatic kaposiform hemangioendothelioma arising from the pleura and deforming the chest wall. The patient was treated with tumor excision and chest wall reconstruction.en5[SDGs]SDG3CD31 antigen; contrast medium; titanium; adult; angiography; article; artificial embolism; bone scintiscanning; cancer surgery; case report; computer assisted tomography; follow up; hemangioendothelioma; human; internal mammary artery; kaposiform hemangioendothelioma; Kasabach Merritt syndrome; male; nuclear magnetic resonance imaging; palpation; physical examination; preoperative care; priority journal; scoliosis; skin defect; thorax deformity; thorax pain; thorax wall defect; thorax wall reconstruction; thorax wall tumor; 5; Hemangioendothelioma; Humans; Kasabach-Merritt Syndrome; Male; Pleural Neoplasms; Sarcoma, Kaposi; Thoracic Wall; Young AdultExpansile kaposiform hemangioendothelioma deformed thoracic cage in an adultjournal article10.1016/j.athoracsur.2013.02.059241824732-s2.0-84887029047https://scholars.lib.ntu.edu.tw/handle/123456789/473799
