2011-08-012024-05-15https://scholars.lib.ntu.edu.tw/handle/123456789/663766摘要:夏蓳(Torenia fournieri Linden)為倒地蜈蚣屬植物,因為栽培及繁殖容易、播種至開花時間短、胚囊外露等特性,常為學界研究被子植物受精過程之模式材料。商業品種黃花夏菫(T. baillonii Godefr.)及臺灣的四個原生種:倒地蜈蚣(T. concolor Lindl.)、毛葉蝴蝶草(T. benthamiana Hance)、母丁香(T. flava Buch.-Ham. ex Benth.)及紫萼蝴蝶草[T. violacea (Azaola ex Blenco) Pennell],亦可進行胚發育及育種之研究。已知本屬植物在種間雜交後常無法獲得種子,故本計畫今年度擬探討夏蓳與臺灣原生種間之雜交障礙與果莢發育,並以埋蠟切片觀察雜交後之胚乳及胚發育情形,以了解種間雜交障礙之程度,以擬定未來克服障礙之方法,此外,並繼續 2011 年度計畫之夏蓳與黃花夏蓳雜交後代之研究。植物雜交胚發育不良而未能以播種獲得後代者,可藉由胚培養技術,外源提供養分,以獲得後代,故 2013 年度時擬採胚培養,以期獲得夏蓳與臺灣原生種之種間雜交後代,並調查其生育特性,以建立性狀之遺傳屬性,供擬定性狀調查及申請品種授權用。植物種間雜交後代常有不稔之情形,但可以多倍體化克服之,故 2014 年選擇數個雜交後代品系進行秋水仙素誘變,以產生多倍體植株,並調查生長特性與稔性,並申請植物品種權保護。<br> Abstract: Wishbone flower (Torenia fournieri Linden) is one of the important model plants to study the fertilization process. There are four Torenia species, native to Taiwan, namely T. concolor Lindl., T. benthamiana Hance, T. flava Buch.-Ham. ex Benth., and T. violacea (Azolae ex Blenco) Pennell. These plant materials can be used to study the fertilization and reproductive behavior. Torenia is known to have hybridization barrier. Thus, the aim of this proposal during year 2012 is to investigate embryo, endosperm and capsule development between crossing T. fournieri and Taiwan-native Torenia species, in order to decide the suitable solution of obtaining hybrid offspring. We would also determine the inheritance of flower traits in self- and/or crossed – progenies between T. fournieri and T. baillonii as have been done during year 2011. Embryos incapable of developing into matured seeds are known to germinate on in vitro mediums with supplementary nutrients. During year 2013, we plan to raise the crossed lines by in vitro embryo rescue after pollination for various durations, and to investigate vegetative and reproductive traits of the obtained crossed lines. Interspecific hybrid progenies could lose fertility, but could be restored by polyploidization.
