國科會50科學之旅:影像顯示之旅

2008-08-012024-05-18https://scholars.lib.ntu.edu.tw/handle/123456789/703452摘要：此次「國科50-科學之旅」活動，是國家科學委員會成立五十週年而特別舉辦的紀念活動，針對國內特定族群之民眾設計一系列以科學為主體的參觀行程，使科普教育能落實於生活之中，達到寓教於樂的效果。本計劃以國科會此目標為基礎，並考慮偏遠地區的中學生長期以來教育資源的分配不均，故設計此次以先進影像顯示技術為活動主題之「國科50─影像顯示之旅」行程，讓這群可能因先天條件較不足的學童(以花東偏遠地區原住民為優先)有機會一窺影像世界的神奇面貌，以開啟他們對科學領域的興趣與志向。本計劃此次所欲展示的主要是國科會94-97 年「跨領域科技教育平台-影像顯示與光機電科技」計畫這幾年之成果。此次行程內容將融合前述計畫的軟、硬體豐碩成果。硬體方面，規劃學員參觀台大光機電影像顯示展示中心及師大影像顯示印刷科技特色展示中心，可親眼目睹多種先進產品（如奇美47 吋高解析度液晶螢幕）與顯示器內部基礎架構；操控最新的數位內容文物瀏覽設備-「3D 魔幻水晶球」，觀賞國寶級文物；透過手做實驗瞭解影像顯示之原理，並且對印刷科技有所認識；在軟體方面，將安排學員觀賞3D 影片（例如故宮國寶總動員），讓學員對精彩的3D 聲光效果產生興趣，進一步探討3D 顯像原理。除此之外，本計畫也規劃了一條「環台北大型影像顯示旅遊路線」，藉由參觀不同原理之戶外大型顯示幕（LED 顯示幕、霓虹塔），讓學員實際比較其中差別，並對各種顯示原理有更進一步的體認。此次活動除寓教於樂，推廣影像科普教育外，也希望能藉由此計畫使參加者認識國科會「跨領域科技教育平台計劃」於日後能自行透過網路，由淺而深引領學生進入影像顯示領域，奠定日後科學教育之基礎，達到「生活科學化」、「科學常識化」的目標。 <br> Abstract: To celebrate the 50th anniversary of NSC, the activity “Tour of Science” is held for certain group of people in Taiwan to learn more about the science in our daily life thorough this tour.Taking account the non-uniforming source allocations for students in the faraway countryside,we have planed a “NSC50-Tour of Image Display”, which focus on the systematic education of advanced image display technology for students to discover the wonder of image display world. Taking the successful experience of “Interdisplinary Science & Technology Education platform- Image display and optomechatronics” sponsored by NSC from 2005-2008, we’llshow the participants to visit the demo-center on image display in NTU and the demo-center on printing technology in NTNU. Students can see the advanced products as Chimei Opt. 47" HD LCD and the inner structures of different displays. They can see national historical relics by 3D Magic Crystal Ball. On the other hand, they’ll also learn the basic principal of image display and printing technology. Students also will see the 3D animated film (like "National Treasure Superstars") which will inspire them with the sound and light effect. In addition, we plan to guide them to see the different commercial big displays in Taipei-city. This activity combines the education of display technology with fun. Meanwhile, we hope this plan can also promote the Cross-Disciplinary Education for Science & Technology platform.
