國立臺灣大學電機工程學系暨研究所廖婉君2006-07-252018-07-062006-07-252018-07-061999-07-31http://ntur.lib.ntu.edu.tw//handle/246246/7726本計劃中,我們針對新世代網際網 路技術在遠距醫學資訊系統之研發與 應用,提出初步的實驗研究。初步研究 MBone(Multicast BackBone)虛擬網路 在遠距醫學資訊系統的使用性;Mbone 使用IP Multicasting(多址傳播)技術的 多媒體軟體工具,提供了一個簡便的 Internet 視訊會議環境。雖然,在網際 網路多址傳播中,提供群組管理已有 IGMP (Internet Group Management Protocol)來進行,並已發展至第三版。 但在我們進行研究中,發現對於群組管 理問題上仍有改進的空間,因此我們針 對其協定的簡易性及減少控制訊息流 量來設計,並已發展一更簡單、更具彈 性之群組管理協定:RGMP (Receiverinitiated Group Management Protocol)。 本篇論文已發表於IEEE 1999 ICNP (International Conference on Network Protocols)。我們將對所提出之 協定機制及分析結果,作一簡略的說 明。The dominant mechanism for group management of IP multicasting is the Internet Group Management Protocol (IGMP). IGMP is based on a query/reply model and refreshes group membership periodically. IGMP has been evolving through three versions. In this paper, a new group management protocol called Received-initiated Group Membership Protocol (RGMP) is proposed. As a result, the protocol overhead compared to IGMP v3 is significantly reduced, over a wide variety of service scenarios.
