2010-01-012024-05-15https://scholars.lib.ntu.edu.tw/handle/123456789/664643摘要:病害全球作物產量與品質的重大問題,各國皆投注大量資源以研發有效防治策略。近年來,作物分子育種已成為全球積極發展「綠色工業」的重要農業研發課題,但仍有一些相關問題待解決。本計畫將分析並研發植物防禦基因在作物保護與發展非抗生素耐受基因轉殖篩選系統上的應用性。為因應全球經濟危機,導致就業市場不振現象,鼓勵大專院校、法人及團體等單位配合農糧產業試驗研究需求,提供相關培訓機會,積極接納新進職場之大專以上畢業生,並藉由相關試驗研究或推廣工作經驗,一方面可增進農糧科技研發之研發能量,以協助解決目前產業面臨各項產銷問題,另方面可於專長領域接受專業技能訓練,培育我國農業科技之試驗研究與推廣人才,俟產業景氣回溫,可立即投入職場發揮所學貢獻產業。<br> Abstract: Diseases and abiotic stress are major factors limiting crop yield, storage, production and quality worldwide. Genetic engineering of stress-tolerance in crops has become popular and valuable in terms of cost and efficacy. However, overexpression may lead to deleterious effects on crop growth and development and potential concerns on animal health. In this study, we aim to characterize two plant disease defense genes and to explore their application potentials on development of stress-tolerant crop cultivars and non-antibiotic screening systems of transgenic plants. The proposed studies would not only benefit basic and applied agricultural biotechnology, but also provide the research assistant involved in this project excellent training in basic and advanced functional genomic studies on plant biology and biotechnology.
