We find that the mean income increases with the number of automobile theft cases. Imprisonment reduces the automobile theft, and this effect becomes stronger with a higher 10-percentile income.1 Introduction 1 Model 2.1 The Economics of Crime 2.2 Estimating Costs and Benefits from Crime 3 The Data 5 Summary Statistics 9.1 Pooled Data 9.1.1 Summary Statistics 9.1.2 Correlation Coefficients 11.2 Some Selected Regions 13.2.1 Abundance of Automobile 14.2.2 Penalty 14.2.3 Income 14 Empirical Results 15.1 Least Square Regressions 15.2 Count Data Regressions 20.2.1 Poisson Process and Poisson Regressions 20.2.2 Fixed-Effect Poisson Regressions 22.2.3 Negative Binomial and Fixed-Effect Negative Binomialegressions 22 Conclusion 25ibliography 28application/pdf656724 bytesapplication/pdfen-US汽車竊盜波松迴歸負二項迴歸automobile theftPoisson regressionnegative binomial regression[SDGs]SDG16刑期與所得對台灣汽車竊盜犯罪之影響Imprisonment, Income and Crime---- Implications from Automobile Theft Data in Taiwanthesishttp://ntur.lib.ntu.edu.tw/bitstream/246246/179358/1/ntu-97-R95323014-1.pdf
