2014-08-012024-05-14https://scholars.lib.ntu.edu.tw/handle/123456789/660037摘要:神經退化是糖尿病的重要併發症,於糖尿病患者,神經再生並不理想,其機制並不清楚。周圍神經包含不同的成分:運動,感覺,與自律神經。不同類型的神經依賴不同的神經滋養因子,例如,神經營養因子之於感覺神經。於糖尿病神經病變,有關神經營養因子的研究以及與神經再生的研究,仍相當有限。這一研究計畫,將以streptozotoxin 小鼠和 db / db 小鼠的糖尿病動物模式,探討神經損傷後再生的機制。這一計畫書同時將探討於糖尿病狀態下,增強神經再生的治療,研究計畫將以我們所建立之全方位檢查(包括功能性,生理,形態計量學和生物化學方法),來評估營養因子和血糖控制對於神經再生的影響,預期結果將會對糖尿病之神經修復提供新的見解與治療策略。 <br> Abstract: Nerve fiber degeneration is a risk factor of multiple morbidities in diabetes, especially nerve regeneration after nerve injury is limited in patients with diabetic neuropathy. The mechanisms underlying such poor nerve repair remains elusive. Peripheral nerves contain different components: motor, sensory, and autonomic nerves which depend on different factors for survival and regeneration. Neurotrophins of different types are essential for the development of neurons in different categories, for example, nerve growth factor for sensory neurons. The roles of neurotrophins in nerve degeneration of diabetes, however, have not comprehensively examined. In this proposal, we will investigate this issue by performing nerve grafting after nerve transection in diabetic animals of streptozotoxin-induced mice and db/db mice. This proposal will conduct comprehensive assessments of peripheral nerves including functional, physiological, morphometrical, and biochemical methods to understand the influences of enhancing trophic factor production and glycemic control and on nerve regeneration after nerve repair.
