2020-08-012024-05-13https://scholars.lib.ntu.edu.tw/handle/123456789/652882摘要:一直以來,人們普遍認為遠紅光不能催化光合作用放出氧氣。此計畫的目標為讓大眾了解遠紅光在環境下的生產力和重要性,並在台灣發掘利用遠紅光的新種藍綠菌和機制,進而應用遠紅光光合作用的機制增加農業和生物工業的產量。研究遠紅光光合作用除了可提供遠紅光啟動子作為合成生物學的工具之外,釐清藍綠菌利用遠紅光的能力更有助於在生物反應器中缺乏可見光的條件下維持光合作用的效率,提升藍綠菌或藻類合成生質能或高價化合物的產率。最終期許把這個機制應用在農業上,幫助植物吸收更多的光、更廣的光波長,進一步增加糧食產量。<br> Abstract: It was recognized for a long time that far-red light cannot drive oxygenic photosynthesis. The goal for this project is to show the public the importance and the productivity of far-red light in photosynthesis in the environment. In addition, he plans to discover new species of cyanobacteria and new mechanisms in using far-red light in Taiwan and apply the mechanism in harvesting far-red light to increase the yield in agriculture and bioindustry. Studying photosynthesis in far-red light can not only provide far-red light-inducible promoters as tools in synthetic biology. Elucidating the capability of cyanobacteria in harvesting far-red light can also help to maintain the efficiency of photosynthesis in bioreactors when visible light is limited, thereby increasing productivity of biofuel and valuable metabolites from cyanobacteria or algae.
