Little has been reported on the effects of powder characteristics and processing parameters. In general, large pores provide high permeability but with low capillarity and vice versa. The objective of this study was thus to understand the effect of pore characteristics on the permeability when different powders and different compacting pressures and sintering temperatures were employed.
