This study included 11 premature infants with CLD and 12 premature infants without CLD. The infants were administered the clinical and roentgenographic scoring systems, cranial ultrasonography and magnetic resonance imaging, and the NNE-C during neonatal period. The results showed that the infants with CLD manifested lower NNE-C scores at PCA 35-37 weeks and 38-42 weeks than those without (p<0.01). The infants with CLD showed higher clinical scores of respiratory disease on day 14 and 28, and higher roentgenographic scores on only day 28 compared with those without (p<0.001). The neural imaging examinations revealed that higher proportions of the infants with CLD had neural lesions (p<0.01). Univariate regression analysis showed that the severity of respiratory disease and neural lesions each had significant relations with the NNE-C scores during neonatal period (R2 = 0.40-0.56 and R2 = 0.23-0.44, p< 0.01). Our preliminary results suggest that respiratory insufficiency, neural lesions and other factors may contribute to the neurodevelopmental outcome during neonatal period in infants with CLD.application/pdf36497 bytesapplication/pdfzh-TW國立臺灣大學醫學院物理治療學系暨研究所早產兒慢性肺疾病神經發展影響因子行政院國家科學委員會專題研究計畫期中進度報告:罹患慢性肺疾病之早產兒的神經發展與影響因素研究(1/3)journal articlehttp://ntur.lib.ntu.edu.tw/bitstream/246246/25639/1/922314B002127.pdf
