2015-08-012024-05-18https://scholars.lib.ntu.edu.tw/handle/123456789/709782摘要:藉由早期參與B介子工廠的實驗團隊,我們發展成為其中重要的成員,並奠定好紮實的國際合作基礎。尤其在B物理的成果發表上,我們可謂表現傑出,深受其他成員倚重。雖然大強子對撞機 (LHC) 的時代來臨,希格斯粒子亦已找到,但研究B介子的稀有衰變,仍是探索新物理的重要途徑,可以為未來基本粒子的研究,指引方向。 由於超級B介子工廠的硬體升級計畫對新物理的發現極為重要,如何讓BelleII偵測器的訊號能較B介子工廠時期快數十倍擷取,是對參與團隊相當嚴峻的挑戰。本計畫的主要硬體工作即為加入研發更新中央漂移室的讀出系統,負責前端訊號電路板的量產、測試、組裝及運轉維修。我們亦會參與超級B介子工廠的試運轉的野獸二號計畫(BeastII),製作小型偵測器提供加速器背景輻射及即時亮度監測的資訊。這些工作都是對BelleII實驗團隊的重要貢獻。 <br> Abstract: Our group joined the B-factory project, Belle, at her early stage. We have developed a good connection with many experimental groups in high energy physics all over the world and become an important contributor at Belle. The most noticeable achievement is our outstanding performance in observing many new physics phenomenon which lead to many published papers. Although the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) is running now and the Higgs particle is observed, it is still very important to check upon the rare decays of B mesons in order to discover the unobserved new territory in particle physics. The need of a detector upgrade is crucial for the success of the Super KEKB factory. Without any doubt, the increase of the readout speed by a factor of 40 more than the current Belle system is a major challenge for the participating institutes at BelleII. This proposal aims for actively participating in the upgrade of the readout system of the central drift chamber (CDC).We would like to committee to the mass-production, testing, installation and running of the CDC front-end readout boards. We would also like to contribute in the BeastII project which we need to provide a small detector to give the beam background information and the instant luminosity to SuperKEKB during its machine study phase.
