2005-08-012024-05-18https://scholars.lib.ntu.edu.tw/handle/123456789/712103摘要:本計畫將針對數位式影像穩定系統作進一步研究,發展一套適合數位攝影機平台的演算法,藉由數位式補償,以達到穩定影像的目的,並研究影像穩定系統與視訊編碼器的整合,精簡移動估計的運算,以提高整體架構的實用性。除此之外,我們將研究如何利用多重畫面的影像資訊來提高攝影機影像畫質,達到光學式影像穩定系統所具有之震動補償與提升畫質雙重功能。 數位式影像穩定系統的架構可以分為兩大部分,一部份為總體移動估計,另一部份為總體移動補償。總體移動估計主要是測量當攝影機震動時,影像框架之間的總體移動。總體移動補償則是根據計算出的總體移動,在感光元件上取出穩定而且連續的影像。本計畫研究的課題將著重於下列諸點:(1)以既有的演算法[24]為基礎,加強在攝影機跟拍(tracking)以及鏡頭變焦時的穩定效果;(2)將影像穩定系統中總體移動估計的部分與MPEG-4視訊壓縮的移動估計部分結合,以降低移動估計的運算量; (3)利用gyro-sensor測量出攝影機的震動,分析數位與光學式影像穩定系統整合的可行性及效果;(4)分析多重畫面的影像資訊,用以增進影像清晰度。 <br> Abstract: The movement of a video camera caused by hand jiggle introduces jerky image motion that is often annoying to human eyes. The problem can be solved by using an image stabilizer to compensate for the hand motion. As opposed to optical image stabilization which uses gyro-sensors to detect hand motion and shifts a corrective lens inside the lens system (or alternatively shifts the image sensor while keeping the lens fixed) , electronic image stabilization detects the induced image motion based on the video data and shifts the image display window accordingly to compensate for the hand motion. For many digital video camera designs, electronic image stabilization is a cost effective solution and is the subject of discussion in this proposal. Digital image stabilizer and video encoder are two important components of a digital video camera. The digital image stabilizer compensates the image movement caused by hand jiggles and thereby improves the perceptual quality of the captured image sequence, while the video encoder compresses the huge amount of video data down to a reasonable size so that it can be efficiently transported or stored. Both the video encoder and the image stabilizer need to compute the image motion, but motion estimation is a computation intensive operation. Therefore, a main task of this work is to integrate these two components and reduce the computation as much as possible. In addition, we will investigate the integration of gyro-sensor with motion compensation and the enhancement of moving picture quality by using the redundancy embedded in consecutive video frames.
