The single-balanced (SB-) downconverter adopts passive cold-bias mixing stage and differential common-source (CS-) FETs g{\mathrm{m}} stage to achieve wide RF/IF BW, high isolations, and low noise figure (NF) with low LO drive. Continuous wave (CW) tests show RF BW of 20-43 GHz and IF BW of 0.1-6 GHz with flat conversion gain (CG), and 6.2-9.7 dB single-sideband (SSB) NF. The GHz-BW QAM carrier down-conversion tests present 8-15 Gbps data rate with 64/256 QAM in 5G K/Ka-band of 24/28/39 GHz. The wideband downconverter with Gbps data-link capability can be utilized for high-speed backhauls communication in full 5G K/Ka-bands. ? 2020 IEEE.5G mobile communication systems; Digital storage; Gallium arsenide; III-V semiconductors; Noise figure; Radio waves; Signal to noise ratio; Continuous waves; Conversion gain; Down conversion; Down converters; High isolation; Low noise figure; Single balanced; Single side bands; Quadrature amplitude modulation[SDGs]SDG7A 20-43 GHz Low Noise GaAs Downconverter with Gbps Data-Links for Full 5G K/Ka-Band Backhaulsconference paper10.1109/RFIT49453.2020.92262482-s2.0-85096547542
