2009-08-012024-05-18https://scholars.lib.ntu.edu.tw/handle/123456789/702250摘要：臺灣水文及水資源環境具有獨特性，因此在降雨逕流預報、水庫操作、防洪預警系統及河川生態復育等研究皆相當重要並值得將相關研究成果發表及分享於國際社會。吾人目前(2009.01)受邀擔任Journal of Hydrology之副編輯深感光榮，並期待未來三年藉由擔任此ㄧ工作，能多參與國際會議，了解國際期刊運作方式，並積極參與Journal of Hydrology例行會議及期刊之編審工作，多方邀請國內相關學者投稿及參與審查工作；將台灣水文水資源之研究成果發表於水文水資源領域之國際SCI期刊；積極參與國際會議，並爭取擔任會議召集人或研討會主持人；邀請國外著名專家學者來台訪問交流，包括Journal of Hydrology & Hydrological Processes 總編輯、美國國家工程學院院士Prof. Soroosh Sorooshian及Professor William Yeh，伊利諾大學Prof. Herricks等，以促進國際間之合作，提昇臺灣水文水資源之研究成果於國際之影響力。 吾人在過去致力於水文及水資源之研究，發表近50篇論文於Journal of Hydrology、Hydrological Processes、Water Resources Research及Advances in Water Resources等知名國際期刊，國內期刊論文、研討會論文發表百餘篇，並著有專書-「類神經網路」，積極促進學術研究、改善研究環境。目前積極籌辦「台灣水文資訊學會」，從事水文資訊科技與學術研究，推動國內外水文資訊科技交流合作，提攜年輕學者、培訓及推荐各級水文資訊科技人才。吾人非常感謝國科會能提供此ㄧ輔助方案，讓有心參與國際事務之學者亦能獲得國家提供相關必要之支助，藉由此一方案我們相信日後相關的國際合作必能有所助益。 <br> Abstract: Hydrology environment and water resource in Taiwan is unique. We have much experience on rainfall-runoff forecasting, reservoir operation, flood warming system, stream restoration. We are very glad to learn the National Science council will provide the necessary fund for the scholars who are working as the editor of international journal. I am very delight to apply this funding because I have been assigned as the Associate Editor of Journal of hydrology (a leading journal in hydrology & water resources community) in the years of 2009 to 2011 recently. I will certainly do my best for the editor works and will very much like to join the regular Editorial Board Meetings and to present our research results in international conferences such as AGU. I also like to pursuit the Western Pacific Geophysics Meeting to be hold in Taipei in the near future. To promote the cooperation of international researchers, we will like to invite outstanding researches, such as the editor of Journal of Hydrology and/or Hydrological Processes, and Prof. Soroosh Sorooshian and Professor William Yeh (USA--National Academy of Engineering), Prof. Edwin Herricks (Faculty of University of Illinois), to visit Taiwan. We believe the quality and the influence of our hydrology and water resources research results can be promoted and the international cooperation certainly will be enhanced. In the past 20 years, I have published more than 50 scientific papers in top ranking international journal, such as Journal of Hydrology, Hydrological Processes, Water Resources Research and Advances in Water Resources, and published more than 100 papers in Chinese journals and conferences. I have also written a technical text book entitled “Artificial Neural Network”. I have devoted to hydrological research and promoted the research environment and quality. At present we have also prepared to have “Taiwan Hydrology Information Society”(THIS) which is engaged in the hydrology information science and technology research. THIS is helpful to promote the research level of hydroinformatics.
