However, this study focuses on the effects of pre-ozonation process on biodegradation of azo dye wastewater and subsequently to understand the reduction mechanisms (principles) and design criteria (application)associated with the sequential batch reactor (SBR). Ozone/oxygen mixture is produced by ozone generator, then, pumped into the counter-current type of bubble column. Azo dye wastewater is fed from the top of bubble column and mixed with an ozone/oxygen gas. After ozonation, azo dye wastewater is pumped into the SBR for further biological treatment that is prepared for biodegradation and toxicity experiments.
