The position of coupling slot between microstrip and waveguide is considered in the equivalent circuit model. The slot in the transverse direction or in the longitudinal direction of the waveguide are discussed and compared. The proposed circuit model is convenient to design broadband transition which is suitable for high-throughput application in mm- Wave band.
