The collaboration between two research teams will greatly speed up our research with impact on competitiveness of Czech and Taiwanese science. While Žurovec Laboratory in Czech Republic has a long experience in Drosophila genetics and mutagenesis (including ZFN and TALEN gene targeting), it has no experience with insect viruses. In contrast, Tsai Laboratory in Taiwan has established the methods needed for insect virus extraction and the viral infection tests needed for the successful solution of the project. Mutual visits will allow knowledge sharing between both institutions that will grant fast progress in intended experiments and thorough training of several young scientists.Drosophilageneticsimmunityvirus果蠅對病毒免疫的調節(1/2)
