Th?venet S.Chen H.-Y.Lahann J.Stellacci F.2019-05-222019-05-22200709359648https://scholars.lib.ntu.edu.tw/handle/123456789/409882A new approach that relies on functionalization of nanostructured surfaces with reactive polymer coatings by chemical vapor deposition (CVD) polymerization and generalizes supramolecular nanostamping (SuNS) to become an essentially substrate-independent stamping technique has been proposed. Using a modified Gorham process, the CVD polymerization used substituted paracyclophanes as starting material and resulted in ultrathin, conformal polymer coatings. This simple, one-step surface modification offers accurate control of the chemical composition and the architecture of the films, and an excellent adhesion. This approach suggests that various surfaces can successfully be coated with reactive polymer coatings and then modified with DNA features using SuNS.
