2009-08-012024-05-18https://scholars.lib.ntu.edu.tw/handle/123456789/708133摘要:本子計畫利用鉛—210/鐳—226與釙—210/鉛—210不平衡探討廣東陸棚的顆粒動力學與物質輸送作用。在整合計畫的研究目標下,我們將橫跨於南海北部內、中、外陸棚區的三或四條測線上選擇代表測站,採集海水量測溶解相和顆粒釙—210和鉛—210。本研究的成果將達成以下目標: (一)以釙—210作為顆粒有機碳的類比元素,估算南海北部大陸棚幫浦產生的輸出通量,此數據對南海的碳循環收支計算工作非常重要。 (二)由溶解相和顆粒鉛—210於研究區域的空間分佈,可闡釋廣東陸棚的邊緣清除作用。 (三)配合整合研究群的各項生物參數(如基礎及細菌生產力)和化學參數(如溶解態有機碳、珠江輸入之顆粒物質)結果,可對釙—210的清除機制有較深入瞭解。 (四)以鉛—210和釙—210分別作為A類和B類痕量金屬的類比元素,探討微量元素在南海北部陸棚、陸坡、海盆區的生地化行為。 <br> Abstract: Taking advantage of the geochemical characteristics of 210Pb and 210Po, we proposed to use 210Pb/226Ra and 210Po/210Pb disequilibria to investigate the particle dynamics and material transport process in the Guangdong shelf of the South China Sea. In the context of the integrate project, large-volume seawater sampling will be carried out for the measurements of dissolved (DPb and DPo) and particulate (PPb and PPo) 210Pb and 210Po along the three (or four) transects encompassing the inner, middle, outer shelves, and continental slope of the Guangdong shelf. Spatial distributions of the DPb, PPb, DPo and PPo in the surface water of the region will also be investigated by sampling surface water at selected stations along the cruise track designed by the integrated project. Following research goals will be achieved: (1) Using 210Po as carbon proxy to quantify the export flux for evaluating the continental shelf pumping force and providing an important constraint for carbon budgeting in the area; (2) From the spatial distributions of DPb and PPb across the shelf and slope area, the boundary scavenging phenomenon in the northern South China Sea will be investigated; (3) In association with biochemical parameters obtained from the project, the relationship of 210Po scavenging with biological activities (e.g., primary and bacterial production and biomass) and chemical settings (e.g., dissolved organic carbon and particulate matters in Pearl River plume) will be delineated; and (4) Using 210Pb and 210Po as analogue elements for class-A and class-B metals, respectively, to study the geochemical behavior of trace elements in the shelf, slope, and basin regimes of the northern South China Sea.熱帶陸棚海之研究-北南海陸棚海-子計畫:利用鉛-210/鐳-226與釙-210/鉛-210不平衡探討廣東陸棚的邊緣清除與顆粒輸送作用
