2015-08-012024-05-13https://scholars.lib.ntu.edu.tw/handle/123456789/647716摘要:兒童過重與肥胖及第二性徵的發育,是青春期兒童的重要健康議題。正常的發展調控於基因、內分泌和環境的複雜交互作用,近年來的研究則著重於環境中的肥胖激素(Obesogens),即指環境或食物中的異生物質,可能不適當的調節或促進脂質累積和脂肪形成,以及內分泌干擾物。新竹地區的環境水域遭受工業製程排放汙染,全氟碳化合物、高科技產業使用的重金屬鎵和銦都是當地獨特的環境暴露。同時考量塑膠製品普遍使用,台灣地區河川中往往都能偵測到極高濃度的塑化劑、壬基酚和雙酚A。這些新興關注汙染物,研究上多有報告具有肥胖激素或內分泌干擾物的特質,其生物累積特性對健康危害急需完整的研究。本計畫將針對客雅溪和頭前溪作為高科技產業廢水排放之高汙染暴露組和低汙染對照組研究地區規劃,利用三年時期完成10至15歲兒童的橫斷式研究收案、肥胖與青春期發育的評估,分析血液和尿液檢體中各種新興關注汙染物的濃度,檢測內分泌系統的生物指標,以探討新興關注汙染物對兒童肥胖及青春期發育的影響,並釐清其對內分泌系統的干擾作用。本研究的最終目標是提供流行病學的證據以作為風險評估的模式和後續衛生管理的規畫。<br> Abstract: Child overweight and obesity and the development of puberty, is an important health issues of adolescent. Normal development is controlled by complex interactions of gene, endocrine system and environment. Recent research has paying attention to obesogens, referring to the environment or food xenobiotics , which may regulate or promote inappropriate fat accumulation and formation , as well as endocrine disruptors .The water in HsinChu has been polluted by industrial wastewater, perfluorinated compounds, heavy metals gallium and indium used in high-tech industries are unique local environmental pollutants. Also consider the widespread use of plastic products, Taiwan rivers are often contaminated with high concentrations of plasticizer, nonylphenol and bisphenol A. These contaminants of emerging concern have been reported in studies to have properties of obesogens or endocrine disrupting chemicals. How their bioaccumulation natures threaten health requires an immediate and comprehensive analysis.This project will focus on Keya and Touchien river as a high-tech industrial wastewater pollution exposure and control area. During the three –year period, we will enroll 10 to 15 years-old children as participants of this cross sectional study, evaluate obesity status and puberty development and analyze the concentrations of contaminants of emerging concern in biological samples as well as endocrine hormones. We aim to investigate the effects of these pollutants on childhood obesity and puberty, and to clarify its interference on endocrine system.
