The design of proposed PD is to separate a typical absorptive B-B PD into three stages, input common-mode (CM) matching stage, power dividing stage, and output CM matching stage. By co-designing and combining the three stages, the circuit size is adjustable and absorptive B-B PDs can be realized in a compact size. Based on the proposed approach, an absorptive B-B PD is realized on 2-layered printed circuit board (PCB) structure. The circuit size of proposed absorptive B-B PD is 0.43λg2, which is the most compact one among existing 2-layered absorptive B-B PDs. The simulated results agree well with the measured ones. The measured results at 2.45 GHz show that reflection and transmission for CM operation are all less than -15 dB, while less than -15 dB and better than -3.3 dB for differential-mode (DM) operation.Antenna feeds | Balanced-to-balanced | common-mode noise | Impedance | Impedance matching | miniaturization | Packaging | power divider/combiner | radio-frequency interference | Scattering parameters | Wideband | Wireless communicationA Miniaturized Balanced-to-Balanced Power Divider with Common-Mode Noise Absorptionjournal article10.1109/TCPMT.2023.33125942-s2.0-85171568518https://api.elsevier.com/content/abstract/scopus_id/85171568518
