2011-01-012024-05-17https://scholars.lib.ntu.edu.tw/handle/123456789/692615摘要：國家理論科學中心子計畫一的主要目標有四： 1. 作為一知識創新與學術卓越的國際性中心， 2. 作為台北區之國家理論科學中心， 3. 作為跨領域的研究整合中心， 4. 作為理論科學人才培育中心。 本中心將延續上一期計畫的執行方式，以四個Focus Group及兩個Initiatives為主要架構（含：Large Hadron Collider Physics, Lattice QCD & Hadron Physics, Critical Phenomena and Complex Systems, Numerical Methods for Strongly Correlated Physics 及 String Theory 四個 Focus Groups，和 LHC 及 Plasmonic Metamaterials 兩個 Initiatives），辦理各項學術活動（如各式研討會、短期學校等），並提供各項資源與服務， 整合北區理論物理人才。特別是我們將加強與數學組間之聯繫並共同努力促進物理學家與數學家間之交流。我們也將以嚴謹的態度隨時檢討計畫的執行成效，不斷改進。 <br> Abstract: The goal of National Center for Theoretical Sciences Subproject I is to become 1. an international center of academic excellence, 2. a center for the northern part of Taiwan, 3. a center of inter-disciplinary researches, 4. a center for nurturing outstanding theorists. The Center will maintain the structure of Focus Groups and Initiatives, including the Large Hadron Collider Physics Focus Group, the Lattice QCD & Hadron Physics Focus Group, the Critical Phenomena and Complex Systems Focus Group, the Numerical Methods for Strongly Correlated Physics Focus Group and the String Theory Focus Group, as well as the LHC Initiative and the Plasmonic Metamaterials Initiatives. It will provide resources and services to local theorists, integrate research efforts in the area, and continue to organize academic activities such as seminars, workshops, schools and conferences.
