The structures of 1-4 were elucidated on the basis of extensive spectroscopic analyses, while the relative configurations were determined by the NOESY experiments. The epimeric metabolites 6 and 7 have been shown to exhibit strong cytotoxic activity against KB and Hepa59T/VGH cancer cell lines.[SDGs]SDG3[SDGs]SDG14dichloromethane; diterpenoid; norditerpenoid; scabrolide; unclassified drug; article; cancer cell; cell line; controlled study; coral; cytotoxicity; epimer; extract; human; human cell; isolation procedure; metabolite; nuclear Overhauser effect; structure analysis; Taiwan; Animals; Anthozoa; Diterpenes; Drug Screening Assays, Antitumor; Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry; Humans; KB Cells; Methylene Chloride; Molecular Conformation; Molecular Structure; Nuclear Magnetic Resonance, Biomolecular; Stereoisomerism; Taiwan; Tumor Cells, Cultured; Alcyonacea; Anthozoa; SinulariaScabrolides A-D, four new norditerpenoids isolated from the soft coral Sinularia scabrajournal article10.1021/np020280r2-s2.0-12244257495WOS:000180190100030
