Up until now, the program has accumulated splendid results. The overall collection data fall into 16 categories, and over 2 million entries of collection data have been established. In year 2007, the National Digital Archives Program has entered its second phase. In order to provide more comprehensive and diversified data service, the National Digital Archives Program and National Science and Technology Program for e-Learning have successfully integrated into the Taiwan e-Learning and Digital Archives Program (TELDAP) in 2008. To allow foreigners access to these abundant results, Taiwan Digital Archives Multilingual Development Project aims to present the Union Catalog and the collection data on a multilingual interface within five years. It is hoped to thereby expand the utility of the program’s results and also to increase national visibility of Taiwan’s collections and academic data. Following the results in the past few years, in 2011 the Taiwan Digital Archives Multilingual Development Project will continue to translate the collection data and Union Catalog into several foreign languages, expand their depth and width, and facilitate international cooperation among archiving institutions. The main focus in 2011 will be on organizing results from the second phase of TEDAP, arranging interviews with institutions, and establishing the Collection Data Multilingual Translation Platform to systematically convert the data descriptions into foreign languages. In the meantime, our project will continue the multilingual work of the Union Catalog and the selected exhibitions. Furthermore, through cooperating with ARTstor and AAT Chinese Translation Projects, our project hopes to broaden TELDAP’s international horizon and enhance Taiwan’s cultural competition.數位典藏後設資料digital archivesmetadata數位典藏與學習之海外推展暨國際合作計畫─典藏目錄與內容多語化計畫
