2021-03-012024-05-14https://scholars.lib.ntu.edu.tw/handle/123456789/657365摘要：全球華語學習風氣日盛，學習動機多元且起始年齡逐年下降，為回應此一趨勢，本所將長年耕耘於中高級高效精緻小班教學的經驗加以延伸，強化初級教學，以歐美一流高中畢業生為教學對象，從零程度開始培訓漢語能力，課程設計將融合文化探索、翻轉教學、陪伴式沉浸學習等前沿教學觀，由資深教師領軍，搭配年輕化的教學與輔導團隊，提供高強度、高效率、開放、友善、專精的華語學習環境。培育青年國際人才，促進多元文化融合。為處於全球化時代的未來菁英打下堅實的華語基礎，並在華人地區獲得豐實的文化與人生體驗。<br> Abstract: In order to improve the teaching capacity of NTU’s The International Chinese Language Program, we devise Chinese Gap Year (CGY) as a nine-month program that will run from September 2020 through June 2021, with the purpose of combining ICLP’s expertise in Chinese language instruction with cultural and community experiences for recent high school graduates who want to study Chinese while learning more about themselves and the world. In class, CGY students will be taught by ICLP instructors. From Monday-Friday students will have three to four hours of daily classes, including a one-on-one class. They will be expected to complete a similar amount of out-of-class preparation each day, and an instructor will provide weekly evening office hours. Outside of class, CGY students will live in single-room (bedroom and private bathroom) accommodations in a nearby dormitory that houses National Taiwan University students. In addition, they will be paired with a language partner who is a current National Taiwan University student. CGY students will also be able to participate in weekly social and cultural activities and excursions, which will allow them to build relationships with locals and experience authentic Taiwanese life.
