2008-08-012024-05-18https://scholars.lib.ntu.edu.tw/handle/123456789/703820摘要:本研究旨在主張當嬰兒面對一挑戰作業而顯示其精熟動機時,除了過往研究對精熟動機的測量向度外,應納入嬰兒之情緒調節歷程及其社會資源運用之行為以便更能捕捉精熟動機的個別差異。如此之描述,也更能符合精熟動機為一演化而來、與環境互動、並互相適應之行為系統的看法。為此,本研究將以行為系統之組織性的觀點,發展一套新的觀察工具(嬰幼兒精熟動機行為Q-分類)以便捕捉情緒調節、運用社會資源、及其他過往便已納入測量之精熟動機變項間的消長關係。本研究計畫正式施測六十對八到十個月大的嬰兒及其母親。他們將參與挑戰作業之錄影活動。使用八個月大的嬰兒是為符合皮亞傑所述之嬰兒開始自行嚐試進行作業之發展階段。本研究將以獲致良好的觀察者內、觀察者間、及跨作業間之信度測量為目標,再以氣質、社會化態度、及過往既有的精熟動機問卷建立嬰幼兒精熟動機行為Q-分類之同時效度。<br> Abstract: Describing the complexity of emotion regulation and utilization of social resources during infants’ attempt to accomplish a challenging task is the main goal of the present study. In practice, we will adopt the organizational perspective, which is derived from the behavioral system view in ethological approach, in order to capture the adaptive function of mastery motivation. A new observational scheme (Q-set of Mastery Motivation for Infants and Toddlers, QMMIT) will be developed that includes the dimensions of mastery motivation proposed by prior research as well as the two dimensions suggested by our own view. We will then recruit 60 mother-infant dyads of 8 to 10 months old to participate in a series of challenging tasks and record their interactions. Infants at 8 months just enter the Piagetian substage of “coordination of secondary circular reactions” where they are better in anticipating events and, as a result, they are more likely to apply their capacity of intentional behavior in trying to change those events. It is thus more likely to observe infants’ spontaneous endeavor and reaction in managing a difficulty task. Coder training will be a major task in this project. We need to document test-retest as well as inter-coder and inter-task reliability for this new assessment of QMMIT.
