The splendid results accumulated so far amount to over 2 million entries of items. In 2007 the Program entered its second phase. In 2008, to produce a more diversified repository, the Program was merged with National Program of E-Learning and formed the Taiwan e-Learning and Digital Archives Program (TELDAP). In order for the project’s fruits to be seen by the world, Taiwan Digital Archives Multilingual Development Project aims at multilingual translation of the digitized items in a span of five years. It is the project’s ultimate goal to share with the world Taiwan’s academic research data, enhancing Taiwan’s reputation around the world. Following the experience and procedure in the past few years, Taiwan Digital Archives Multilingual Development Project will continue the multilingual translation work of collection items and items in Union Catalog, hoping to not only expand the depth and width of our results but boost future collaboration among international archiving institutions. As the project is nearing its end, the transfer of project results will be undertaken in accordance with the principle of sustainable development. The project’s main focus in 2012 will be placed on the coordination of Asian Digital Library conferences and the promotion of the digitized items. Meanwhile, the project will continue establishing systematic digital item collections with the aid of Multilingual Translation Platform. Lastly, through the cooperation with ARTstor and AAT Chinese Translation Projects, our project hopes to broaden TELDAP’s international horizon and enhance Taiwan’s cultural competitiveness.數位典藏後設資料digital archivesmetadata數位典藏與學習之海外推展暨國際合作計畫-子計畫一:典藏目錄與內容多語化計畫
