After nucleated at 800℃ for 50 minutes and crystalized at 890℃for 70 minutes, the specimen exhibited a fine and uniformed grain size of about 20 μm under optical microscopy. Biocompatibility test for the bioglass ceramics was conducted by the cell culture and implantcd in rat shoulder.
