Viscoelastic and nonlinear spring-dashpot models are chosen to characterize the behavior of the core. The nonlinear panel response is obtained by utilizing modal analyses and Monte Carlo simulation techniques. Numerical results include the response spectral densities, root-mean-square responses, and probability density function histograms. It is found that by proper selection of the dynamic parameters and damping characteristics, the structural response can be significantly reduced.337795 bytesapplication/pdfen-US[SDGs]SDG11Nonlinear Response of Double Wall Sandwich Panelsjournal article10.1080/036012184089074832-s2.0-0021617167http://ntur.lib.ntu.edu.tw/bitstream/246246/236922/2/Journal of Structural Mechanics, Vol.12, No.4, pp.483-503, 1984.pdf
