The model interprets information-related behavior in terms of how a person relates to a situation, rather than personal Or demographic variables_ It draws heavily on Grunig's situational theory. In general, this situational model serves well for predicting and explaining information-seeking behavior. This model can predict when a person will keep moving forward, when a person will terminate information-seeking, whether a person will approach a professional intermediary or not, what kind of channels will be used by an individual in a situation, and what kind of attitudes will be held by a person in a situation ( a situational attitude or across-situational attitude ) . Finally, it attempts to tap all the indicators of situational variables by using content analytic schemes, so this model will become a testable model.en-US情境模式在解釋資訊尋求行為之適用性journal articledoi: 10.6182/jls.1994.9.049http://ntur.lib.ntu.edu.tw/bitstream/246246/190618/-1/o09-3.pdf
