The microfluidic platform can extract 177 μL plasma from 400 µL whole blood within 7 minutes and subsequently detect the biomarker in the undiluted plasma by an embedded electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) sensor. The EIS sensor successfully detected C-reactive protein (CRP), a cardiovascular disease biomarker, in a broad range from 1 ng/mL to 10 µg/mL. Highly integrated, the microfluidic platform exhibits great potential for point-of-care (POC) diagnostics.Cardiovascular Disease | Electrochemical Detection | Microfluidics | Whole Blood Processing[SDGs]SDG3A MICROFLUIDIC PLATFORM FOR UNDILUTED PLASMA SEPARATION AND ELECTROCHEMICAL DETECTION OF C-REACTIVE PROTEINconference paper2-s2.0-85136939500https://api.elsevier.com/content/abstract/scopus_id/85136939500
