After obtaining the initial continuous solution, the conventional Lagrange multiplier approach associated with an appropriate tree search algorithm is used iteratively to optimize the remaining unquantized coefficients of the designed filter in the least-squares sense when one or more of the coefficients take on discrete values, till all of the filter coefficients are quantized. The method is simple and the performance is comparable with that of the existing methods.application/pdf556746 bytesapplication/pdfen-USLagrange multiplier approach; Sampling structure conversion; Tree search algorithmAlgorithms; Lagrange multipliers; Optimization; Sampling structure conversion; Tree search algorithms; Digital filtersFinite-wordlength design of 2-D FIR digital filters for sampling structure conversionjournal article10.1016/S0165-1684(97)86990-32-s2.0-0030377920http://ntur.lib.ntu.edu.tw/bitstream/246246/142444/1/33.pdf
