2001-08-012024-05-16https://scholars.lib.ntu.edu.tw/handle/123456789/667112摘要:本計畫將針對TCM-90實驗期間侵台之楊希(Yancy,1990)和黛特(Dot,1990)颱風,利用MM5中尺度數值模式,以TCM-90網格資料為初始場,模擬颱風侵台前後之路徑和環流、結構變化。其次,透過模擬結果的診斷分析,探討台灣地形對楊希和黛特颱風路徑和環流變化的影響。全程計畫預計二年完成,第一年(本年)之工作著重於模式之敏感度測試及模擬結果和觀測資料的比對,第二年則著重於結果之診斷分析,並探討台灣地形影響侵台颱風之動力過程。本年的工作重點包括有:(1) 測試Betts-Miller參數化法中不同參數之影響(延續上年研究)。(2) 測試不同台灣地形解析度之影響,將分別利用NCAR提供者和1 km * 1 km解析度地形資料。(3) 測試並比較採用EC和TCM-90網格資料為初始場之模擬結果。(4) 採用最理想模式設計(含參數)和網格資料,完成控制組實驗模擬。(5) 搜集分析颱風中心經過附近之測站觀測資料,並利用觀測資料(含衛星和雷達影像)驗證控制組實驗模擬結果之合理性。(6) 分析控制組實驗之颱風結構和路徑變化特徵,並提出具科學價值之題材供第二年進行診斷分析<br> Abstract: This research will employ NCAR/PSU MM5 to simulate the motion and structure changes of typhoons Dot and Yancy, which occurred during the TCM-90 experiment period. The TCM-90 grid point data will be used as the model initial fields. Next, a diagnostic analysis using model outputs will be performed to discuss the effect of Taiwan topography on the changes in the motion and structure of those typhoons invading Taiwan. We will take two years to complete this study. Focus of the first (this) year’s research will be placed on the model sensitivity test and the comparison between model results and observations. In the second year, we will diagnose the model results to study the dynamics of topographical effect on typhoons invading Taiwan.The major tasks of this year’s research include:1.To examine the results using different reference values in the Betts-Miller scheme (continued from last year’s study).2.To test model result using different resolution for Taiwan terrain.
