The effects of the variations in fiber length, pump wavelength, fiber mirror reflectance, optical feedback, and erbium concentration on the characteristics are investigated. The analysis results show that an SFS in DPB configuration may serve as light source for the navigation-grade fiber-optic gyroscope applications.application/pdf363051 bytesapplication/pdfen-USComposition effects; Doping (additives); Erbium; Gyroscopes; Light reflection; Mirrors; Fiber-optic gyroscopes (FOG); Superfluorescent fiber sources (SFS); Fiber opticsModeling of a double-pass backward Er-doped superfluorescent fiber source for fiber-optic gyroscope applicationsjournal article10.1109/50.8030242-s2.0-0033348081WOS:000083675100049http://ntur.lib.ntu.edu.tw/bitstream/246246/148156/1/22.pdf
