2010-08-012024-05-17https://scholars.lib.ntu.edu.tw/handle/123456789/689805摘要:本研究係持續發展申請人前次主辦之《中國國際關係/學爭論:知識社群的國家認同分析(1996-2008)》計畫,並將焦點聚集於所謂「中國學派」之上的案例研究。此計畫同時兼具單一個案—國關理論「中國學派」的醞釀與發展問題,及多重個案比較—冷戰後中國與若干週邊國家關係比較的特質。因而同時具有理論性與經驗性的特點。 要言之,所謂「中國學派」問題在中國國關學界醞釀已有二十年。其早期的說法是所謂「中國特色」,但由於理論幼稚、研究貧瘠,很快就被其學界有識者摒棄,使得1990年代後期變成專注學習西方理論和發展經驗研究的階段。但筆者承辦前案(中國國際關係/學爭論案)亦發現,約在2005年前後,中國國關學界發展「中國學派」的論述不僅變得更為肯定,且不乏有見地的想法。結合中國上升中的國際權勢,西方重要學者亦開始重視「中國經驗」與「中國式秩序」的可能性。其中一條發展中的思路即是古代東亞朝貢體系衍生出的「天下秩序」論說。本研究將從探析「中國學派」相關論點入手,進而以環繞在「天下秩序」間的辯論為中心,論證「中國學派」的可能性與理論基礎。最後將理論發現與中國經營與東南亞國家關係為經驗例證,檢視發展中的「中國學派」、「天下秩序」的現實意義。 <br> Abstract: Abstract The fact of “China Rise” has been widely recognized as one of the most important change impacting on the current international order since the end of the Cold War. Various debates are developing surrounding subjects such as how and to what extent will China challenges the post-war order established by the West. This puzzle is not only haunting experts in the West, but also bothering IR researchers in China. The way the Chinese scholars addressed this issue was the so-called “IR theories with Chinese Characters” in late 1980s. But this claim was jettisoned by mature, well-trained Chinese academics in 1990s. The circle then experienced a period of learning western theories and doing empirical studies for around ten years. The emergence of building a “Chinese School” gained new momentum in 2005 and afterward. This trend accompanied Bush Administration’s failure in both military as well as global economic areas. This time the Chinese drew support not from Marxist-Leninist teaching, but Confucianism and the experiences of ancient East Asian tribute system. This study will focus on this new drive of the “Chinese School”, evaluate its theoretical adequacy, and test it against Beijing’s policy toward a few Southeast Asian countries where the Chinese influences are most vibrant.
