2010-01-012024-05-17https://scholars.lib.ntu.edu.tw/handle/123456789/687152摘要:本計畫所進行的數位化資料包括《田代文庫》、歌仔册、《狄寶賽文庫》三部分。 《田代文庫》乃台灣總督府技師田代安定的手稿資料及藏書,為瞭解台灣植物分佈變 遷的重要參考資料。歌仔册則來自楊雲萍教授與彰化縣耆老楊水虳先生的收藏,反映 各階層人民的生活經驗,是極佳的社會史資料。《狄寶賽文庫》乃是將美援台灣時期狄 寶賽先生的日記、手稿、檔案原件加以數位化,可讓見證中美合作的史料再現,亦提 供學者珍貴的美援台灣建設歷史研究之第一手資料。本計畫之最終目標是為此三類資 料的數位化成果,建置為互動式資料庫,方便檢索使用。<br> Abstract: The National Taiwan University Library holds abundant Taiwan studies materials of diversity subject fields. These materials are valuable from the consideration of both academic and cultural importance. The collections to be digitized in this project include Yasusada Tashiro Collection, Lyric Books of Taiwanese Opera, and Mr. V. S. de Beausset’s Collection. Yasusada Tashiro Collection includes books, documents and manuscripts of Mr. Yasusada Tashiro who was a pioneer in botany research during Japanese Occupation. Mr. Tashiro had conducted many extensive in-depth researches of natural resources of Taiwan and Okinawa through field trips, and left behind tremendous amount of invaluable investigation records. He was also a master in plantation, including those plants imported from outside the island. The records from the field investigation and for the plantation reveal the original botanic distributions and illustrate the formation of current plantation of the island. They have become indispensable resource for Taiwan botany researches. The Lyric Books of Taiwanese Opera were formerly owned by Professor Yunping Yang and Mr. Shuiti Yang. The contents of these lyric books were mainly adopted from Chinese classic literature and to be presented in Taiwanese dialects in chanting. The stories adopted in these lyric books are of broad subjects that reveal the Chinese ideology of common people and, the real aspects of the society. As the Lyric Books of Taiwanese Opera collection held by the National Taiwan University Library contains many unique copies of lyric books of Taiwanese Opera, this collection is important for both public appreciation of the art and for academic research in traditional Taiwanese performance arts, literature, and dialect languages. Mr. de Beausset`s Collection is a collection contains photographs, historical archives, manuscripts, etc. Mr. de Beausset was an advisor to Nationalist Government of China from 1949 to 1957. His collection provides documentary information about the nation’s construction during the 1950’s under J. G. White Engineering Corporation’s programs before, and later in conjunction with, U.S. Agency for International Development (US AID). It is an invaluable first-hand resource for the study of Taiwan development. In the digitization projects for these collections, digital images and metadata record will be made for each item in the collections.
