In Vietnam, Study of the Shangshu (The Classic of Documents) formed an important component of Han Studies Research. Through a comparative study of Shangshu research in Vietnam and China we can see the development of two different hermeneutics for understanding the Shangshu which will more clearly reveal the unique characteristics of Vietnamese and Chinese Shangshu research. When examining the two locations and historical background, as well as their cultural differences and how inaugurated different interpretive methods, the importance of the classics and how they were thought in different periods will help us consider possible developmental trajectories for China’s classics in the future.越南尚書中國比較VietnamShangshuChinesecompareison高等教育深耕計畫-核心研究群計畫【中、越《尚書》學比較研究】
