國立臺灣大學電機工程學系暨研究所廖婉君2006-07-252018-07-062006-07-252018-07-062002-07-31http://ntur.lib.ntu.edu.tw//handle/246246/7863本計畫是總計劃「行動電子商務系統 關鍵技術之研發與實作」下之子計畫五 「行動電子商務系統無線通訊協定關鍵技 術之研發與實作」之第一年計畫。 在本年度的計畫中,研究是著重支援 行動電子商務系統的核心網路部分,特別 是IP mobility 對於QoS 與可靠的多址傳播 的影響。 無線環境下的行動電子商務系統相關 網路通訊協定關鍵技術中,IETF Mobile IP(MIP)所提供的兩種模式:雙向通道技 術(Bi-directional Tunneling, MIP-BT)及遠 端加入(Remote Subscription, MIP-RS),並 不能有效達成行動電子商務系統中對於 QoS 與可靠的多址傳播的需求。因此在本 研究中,我們以MIP-RS 為設計出發點, 提出一個新的行動可靠多址傳播協定 (RMMP) [1][2],提供作為一個更具規模性 與簡易性的行動電子商務系統無線通訊協 定,並且我們也提出利用解析分析方式。 定量分析與目前所存在的Token(TR)技術 [3]的差異性,接著以模擬分析的結果驗證 正確性。透過分析結果,所提出的協定不 論在資源需求或是所支援的人數上,都能 夠以更簡單有效的方式達成可靠的行動多 址傳播的需求。 本計劃成果已發表於IEEE GLOBECOM 2001 (Global Telecommunications Conference 2001 )。As a sub-project of the joint project entitled “A Mobile Electronic Commerce System,” this project, named “Wireless Network Protocols for Mobile Electronic Commerce Systems,” attempts to design wireless network protocols to enable mobile E-commerce. We will carry out this project in a three-year span. In the first year, we studied the impact of IP mobility on QoS and reliable multicasting. We proposed a new protocol called RMMP (Reliable Mobile Multicast Protocol) and analyzed the performance of existing reliable multicast protocols for host mobility in IP networks. We examined two schemes: global token rotation and local recovery with tunneling. Both schemes support reliable multicast for mobile hosts at the expense of extra buffer spaces in mobility agents. We model the buffer requirement of each protocol as an M/G/¥ queuing system, from which we can further derive service latency and system throughput. We have also conducted simulations to verify the derived analytical model. The results show that the local recovery with tunneling mechanism has much smaller buffer size, higher throughput, and lower service latency, as compared to other protocols.
