2023-07-192024-05-13https://scholars.lib.ntu.edu.tw/handle/123456789/653146本計畫為經濟部地質調查所的計畫， 「臺灣北部麓山帶優良地層剖面、地質景點與重要露頭數位記錄計畫」之試作與規劃，主要工作包括將台灣北部北北基桃竹苗地區麓山帶地層，依照範圍大小以及調查難易度規劃為四區，最為後續調查之參據。以及優良地層剖面的野外調查與試作，本年試作範圍是苗栗境內的連續地層剖面。西部麓山帶以沉積岩為主，苗栗境內的海相地層富含超微化石、微體化石及無脊椎動物化石，是全臺灣地層劃分與對比以及油氣探勘的重要生物地層工具。舉例而言，苗栗的出磺坑剖面是臺灣重要地質科普教育基地之一，更是地質系師生嚮往的地質調查區域。因此本計畫旨在調查並收集苗栗後龍溪及龍王峽谷的地質遺跡候選點位第一手地質資料。團隊由國立臺灣大學地質科學系師生代表組成。 本計畫選定龍王峽谷為主要重點工作區域，後龍溪為輔助區域。工作分成路線地質圖、地質剖面繪製、區域重要露頭連續影像資料記錄、地質遺跡候選點位調查報告和行政作業等5項目。將繪製一萬分之一的路線地質圖10公里。至少3個區域重要露頭說明及連續影像記錄並完成2個地質遺跡後選點位評估調查報告。 行政作業則會與地調所舉行定期進度報告，並會後彙整團隊成果以及繳交符合規定格式的成果。相關成果預計會在國內外研討會展示，並與其他專家團隊交流。 This proposal titled "Planning for the Digital Recording of Excellent Stratigraphic Sections, Geological Sites, and Important Outcrops in the North Western Foothills of Taiwan" is the first-year project funded by the Central Geological Survey of the Ministry of Economic Affairs of Taiwan. The main focus of the investigation is mapping the continuous stratigraphic sections in Miaoli. The Western Foothills is predominantly composed of sedimentary rocks, and the marine deposits within Miaoli contain abundant nanofossils, microfossils, and invertebrate fossils. They serve as important biostratigraphic tools for defining stratigraphic units, making stratigraphic correlation, and for conducting petroleum exploration in Taiwan. For example, the Chuhuangkeng Section in Miaoli is one of Taiwan`s important geo-educational sites and a sought-after area for geological investigations by students and professors. Therefore, the aim of this project is to investigate and collect the first-hand geological data on the geological heritage candidate sites in the Houlung Creek and Longwang Gorge of Miaoli.
