It is located at the Mathematics Research Center Building in the northern campus of National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan. The current director of CASTS is Professor Chang-Shou Lin who is an Academician of Academia Sinica. Mission The four major goals of CASTS are: 1. To be a research center for interdisciplinary and inter-college study of mathematical sciences. 2. To be an international mathematical center of knowledge innovation and outstanding research. 3. To be a fostering center for mathematical talents. 4. To be a communication platform among domestic or oversea academic institutions.理論科學研究中心於2011年成立。
