2004-08-012024-05-17https://scholars.lib.ntu.edu.tw/handle/123456789/679254摘要：2004 第八屆臺加高等教育合作會議 會議日期： 2004年12月4日 會議地點： 臺灣大學第二行政大樓第四會議室 緣起： 「第七屆中加高等教育會議」於2001年10月在加拿大英屬哥倫比亞大學 (University of British Columbia, UBC) 舉行，為延續雙方交流合作關係，此次由我國籌辦「第八屆臺加高等教育合作會議」。 會議議題： 推動臺加雙方之交流與合作，共同提升大學競爭力，此次會議主題及子題擬定如下: 主題： 全球公民化之大學教育 子題一： 雙聯學位與雙學位認證 子題二： 跨校際學分承認 子題三： 教師與學生交換計畫 尾聲: 經過三個月的籌劃與邀訪，加方大多數學校因時間上不能配合之因素，無法前來參加此次會議。有鑒於會議成效難如預期，在與教育部商議後將該會議延後至2005年再行舉辦，有一位加方代表仍依原定計畫來台，秘書處仍會照舊接待。 <br> Abstract: The Eighth Canada Taiwan Conference on Higher Education Date: December 4, 2004 Venue: Conference Room No. 4, 2nd Administration Building, National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan Background: In November 2001, a delegation of Taiwanese university presidents was warmly hosted by the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, B.C. for the Seventh Canada Taiwan Conference on Higher Education. All participants enjoyed the conference so much that they decided to keep the conference going so as to serve the mutual interests academically in a global setting. After three years, it is the honor of National Taiwan University to host the Eighth Canada Taiwan Conference on Higher Education. This occasion will offer another excellent opportunity for delegates to exchange thoughts & opinions, and also to build a more solid bilateral academic relation with each other. Theme: University Education for Global Citizenship: Topics: 1. Joint Degree/ Dual Degrees Recognition 2. Credit Recognition between Universities 3. Faculty and Student Exchanges Epilogue: Due to a law participation rate from the Canadian delegation at this period of time, the conference was postponed to 2005. Exact date is not yet confirmed.
