2009-08-012024-05-18https://scholars.lib.ntu.edu.tw/handle/123456789/698257摘要：調查方法與資料庫計畫提供各調查研究上必要之技術協助，並在資料蒐集完成後進行資料清理與資料庫維護工作，藉由資料庫網站建構，作為資料釋出與使用之公開管道。 調查方法與資料庫計畫主要在執行：1.依據原始的理論構想，應用心理測量技術以更符合問卷核心。2.提供抽樣設計和調查方法論上的協助，以協調各國調查時所面對的技術性問題。3.建立整合性的資料庫，將調查研究中的程序及資料做有系統的協調及儲存。4.發展跨國比較的策略。5.建立互動式網站以提高資料的使用與分析，並做為資料釋出的中介。6.協調拉美動態調查、非洲動態調查及阿拉伯動態調查以維持一全球性的數位化資料庫，提供公民對於民主、治理與發展態度之經驗性資訊來源。 <br> Abstract: The Survey Methodology and Data Base Sub-project will be entrusted to perform the following tasks: (1) to apply psychometric techniques to assess the questionnaire items with respect to original theoretical constructs, (2) to provide technical assistance in sampling design and in survey methodology; (3) to establish repository of primary datasets; (4) to develop strategies for cross-nation comparison; (5) to enhance data use and analysis through the construction of an interactive website as the medium for data release, and (6) to coordinate with Globalbarometer in creating and maintaining a global digital database for citizen’s views and attitudes toward democracy, governance and development. By specifying theses goals, the proposed subproject is set up to provide needed technical assistance in survey research design and in dealing with urgent issues during the period of field work. In addition, at the time when data collection is completed, this subproject will take the responsibility in data cleaning and database maintenance. In its last stage, this subproject will make use of the database format developed by ICPSR (e.g., the DDI format) and advanced web technology as a jumping off point for facilitating data exchange and exploration via Internet. At the end of our next-wave survey, we will continue our policy of releasing the data to the public domain. Data of the first-wave survey was officially released in August 2005. Researchers can get access to the data set, free of charge. Interested parties may download the data access agreement from the project websites.
