A finite-element software package, ABAQUS, was used for the simulation and emphasis was placed on the effect of the cake/cell-surface friction. The validity of the simulation was assessed by comparing simulation results with available experimental data.application/pdf800017 bytesapplication/pdfen-USCompression–permeability cellCakeFiltrationConsolidationSimulationTransientCake consolidation in a compression–permeability cell: effect of side-wall frictionjournal articlehttp://ntur.lib.ntu.edu.tw/bitstream/246246/2006111501275353/1/6912.pdf
