2014-01-012024-05-15https://scholars.lib.ntu.edu.tw/handle/123456789/661905摘要：黑嘴端鳳頭燕鷗(Thalasseus Bernsteini)為IUCN列為瀕危等級之稀有鳥類，在馬祖列島燕鷗保護區內擁有世上唯二的穩定繁殖族群，但十年來相關之繁殖基礎資料都相當缺乏。2013年在海峽兩岸燕鷗保育研討會與鳥類學研討會中，兩岸的研究人員已取得共識認為燕鷗的繫放工作是目前資訊相當缺乏而必須即刻投入的部分。但由於黑嘴端鳳頭燕鷗數量稀少，捕捉標記在執行上較為困難，故於本計畫透過繫放其共域物種鳳頭燕鷗(T. bergii)以了解其繁殖族群動態。在2013年的8月底，研究人員已於馬祖列島燕鷗保護區的鐵尖繫放26隻鳳頭燕鷗成鳥與27隻幼鳥。另外，為引進國際合作的力量在黑嘴端鳳頭燕鷗之保育行動，也建立網路聯繫平台以利國際研究人員交換研究資訊。根據2013年的調查發現，在鐵尖活動之鳳頭燕鷗嶼黑嘴端鳳頭燕鷗數量都相當高(鳳頭燕鷗3000隻、黑嘴端鳳頭燕鷗13隻)，但幼鳥數量卻相當低，僅有不到200隻幼雛。且未觀察到黑嘴端鳳頭燕鷗的幼鳥。2014年除持續進行之燕鷗繫放外，我們也將進行繁殖棲地監測、捕食者移除、增設監測系統與食物資源調查等工作。<br> Abstract: The Matsu Islands in Taiwan are an archipelago of islands surrounded by the sea. Some of the islands are chosen as the breeding places by many kinds of seabirds. Among these seabirds, one of the critical endangered species is the Chinese Crested Tern (Thalasseus bernsteini). In the past, its habitual behavior and ecology are inspected by manual observation. The retrieved information is very trivial. After the 2013 Cross-Strait Conference on Terns Conservation, researchers of cross-strait have reach an agreement of the importance of banding terns. Due to the small population of Chinese Crested Tern, this project focus on banding the sympatric species- Greater Crested Tern (T. bergii) to understand it’s breeding population dynamic. We already banded 26 adult and 27 juvenile Greater Crested Terns atTiejian Island, Aug. 2013. The conservation information website was construct to improve the international cooperation in years 2013, too. According to the investigation in 2013, the high numbers of breeding population of Chinese Crested Tern (>3000) and Greater Crested Tern (13) came out with low productivity, only less than 200 juveniles and no Chinese Chested Tern’s juveniles were observed.
