2017-08-012024-05-18https://scholars.lib.ntu.edu.tw/handle/123456789/705355摘要：近年來台灣在食品安全風波不斷的情況下，「如何選擇安心食材」以及「如何吃得健康」等議題逐漸成為社會大眾與媒體報導的關注焦點，其中「有機」和「基因改造」是兩個重要的相關概念。本研究旨在探討並批判此兩大新興農業概念自2000年以來，在主流媒體新聞報導中呈現的論述以及其潛藏的意識形態。 媒體論述一方便被視為是反映主流論述的觀點，一方面也被視是影響消費者選擇與行為的主要來源。有機和基因改造農產品的討論本身就是具爭議的議題，涉及了環境倫理、健康、食品安全、糧食安全、宗教倫理等論述。於是，本研究試圖發掘台灣主流媒體關於「有機」和「基因改造」農產品媒體再現真實和這些不同論述的關係。此外，媒體報導中也涉及了不同的權益關係者之間的利益和權力關係，包括政府、專家、消費者、農民、業界等。本研究也試圖瞭解這些權益關係者在台灣主流媒體相關的兩大概念報導時中被賦予的角色和地位。 整體而言，本研究試圖瞭解台灣主流新聞媒體如何框架有機與基因改造農產品的食安意識。同時，本研究將關注此兩大概念的媒體論述的歷時性變化。更進一步，本研究將從「類目」的角度出發，整合相關概念詞彙，進行上述論述爭論的學術對話。 <br> Abstract: With the increasing Taiwan’s food safety crisis events over past decade, ‘how to choose safe agricultural products’ and ‘how to eat healthy’ has become attract public attention and media reporting. As such, ‘organic’ and ‘genetic modified (GM)’ are two important concepts in the Taiwanese society. This study aims to explore and examine how these two concept were emerged and how they have been changing since 2000, in Taiwan’s mainstream newspapers. Mass media discourse is often considered to has dual meanings. One is that language reflects social practices of a specific group; another indicates the power of language that reflects these practices and constitutes them. This media discourses of organic and GM agricultural products is of special research value because these two concepts are already debatable in that they are related to issues of environment ethics, health, food safety, food security and/or religious ethics. This research is interested in revealing how the media representations of organic and GM foods are related to different perspective of these issues. In addition, how stakeholders such as government, experts, consumers, farmers, NGO organizations and food dealers are presented within media coverages as information sources providers is also focus of this research. In general, the research attempts to understand how the mainstream news media ‘frame’ understanding and awareness of organic and GM food, with special focus on examining diachronic changes of these media discourses.
