2013-04-012024-05-14https://scholars.lib.ntu.edu.tw/handle/123456789/661454摘要：分布於苗栗縣後龍鎮的過港貝化石層為一珍貴的自然資產，日據時代即指定為天然紀念物，苗栗縣政府更於1955年公告為古蹟保護區加以保護。本計畫主要目的有二，首先利用文獻回顧和現地調查收集過港貝化石層分布區的基礎資料，包括地質、地形、貝化石特性、土地利用和貝化石出露處等資料，瞭解貝化石的分布現況。其次，依據調查資料劃設過港貝化石層的初步範圍以為設置自然地景之參考。<br> Abstract: The Guau Gang Shell Fossil Strata is a precious natural asset located in the town of Houlong in Miaoli County. The strata had been enlisted as a Natural Monument during the Japanese Occupation period to protect these precious shell fossils. Later, it was designated as historic site by the Miaoli County government in 1955. The first objective of this project is to collect basic environmental information of the Guau Gang Shell Fossil Strata, including geology, geomorphology, characters of the shell fossils, land usage, and outcrop of the fossils, by means of literature review and field investigation.
