2020-08-012024-05-13https://scholars.lib.ntu.edu.tw/handle/123456789/654600摘要:量子資訊科技具有革新傳統資訊科技相關產業鏈的潛在卓越性,為世界各國戮力發展的重點項目之一。因此在近期的未來如何利用量子電腦以革新臺灣資通訊產業為重要課題。鄭皓中博士規劃利用其研究之量子資訊處理技術以設計三項量子資訊科技系統-1.「量子通訊網路」、2.「量子電路之機器學習」、3.「量子加密系統」以及4.「量子強化人工智慧」。量子通訊網路包含多端點之量子資訊傳輸及接收設計,可用於模擬全域性量子計算與傳輸交換密鑰。量子電路學習主要利用量子態做為訓練樣本來推論出目標量子電路,進而應用於未來量子電腦製備之電路進行檢測及驗證。量子加密系統研究量子通訊中的資訊隱密性分析與密鑰傳輸率,預計可配合國家資訊安全政策,布建未來國家級量子安全系統。量子強化人工智慧預期能利用量子資訊科學的優越性來增進機器學習與人工智慧之效能與效率,鄭博士規劃以此強化科技部、臺大電資學院、與臺灣智能產業鏈之人工智慧研究發展與政策。總體目標為以規劃之四項研究項目從量子通訊、計算、加密、人工智能著手,達成短程內量子資訊科技系統設計;中程內可實行佈建之量子資訊科技設施;長程之整合強化臺灣現有資通訊技術,並與國立臺灣大學、科技部、產業界等相關產學聯盟整合量子資訊科技研究發展、技術開發、專利申請、產業發展以及人才培育。<br> Abstract: Quantum information technology has unprecedented capacity of revolutionizing current information technology industry chain. Hence, it has become the main focus around the world. Moreover, it is a pressing matter to study how to harness the power of quantum computers to invent quantum information technology and thus to revolutionize Taiwan’s Information and Communications Technology. Dr. Cheng proposes to apply his research expertise of quantum information processing techniques to investigate three major quantum information technologies – (i) quantum communication network, (ii) quantum circuits learning, (iii) quantum encryption, and (iv) quantum-enhanced artificial intelligence. Firstly, the study of quantum communication network involves designing multiple-terminal quantum information transmissions and receptions. This can be applied to simulate global operations in quantum computing. Secondly, quantum circuits learning aims to identify the unknown quantum circuits by using a series of quantum states as training samples. This will lead to applications of quantum circuits verification and testing. Thirdly, the study of quantum encryption can facilitate our national security. Fourthly, quantum-enhanced artificial intelligence harnesses the advantage of quantum resources to improve the efficiency and performance of machine learning and artificial intelligence tasks. Dr. Cheng proposes to employ this technology to integrate and enhance the development of artificial intelligence in the College of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the National Taiwan University (NTU) and the industries in Taiwan.
