2019-01-012024-05-13https://scholars.lib.ntu.edu.tw/handle/123456789/654139摘要：甲骨刻辭除了是探討文字造字源起的重要一環外，作為當時語言記錄的特質亦屬研 究上古漢語重要的資材。前者促使學者說解字形，考察字義，說解文例;後者則歸 納語法結構，建構相關語言層面的認識，包含語序、甲骨刻辭是否為問句等命題。 至於結合二者以進行字義解釋與句法結構分析者則還未見到有系統的論說，於是在 字詞解釋或句法結構都呈現個別性、舉例性，無法展現整體性與綜合性。 本計劃以「甲骨刻辭戰爭、田獵語言研究——以動詞為核心」為題，著重戰爭、田 獵文例的整理與研究，以「動詞」為核心，目的在討論與確立「論旨關係」 (thematic relation)、「語義關係」(semantic relation)，因為論元 (argument)由中心語(動詞)得到語義角色(semantic role)，確立語義角色 過程中，除了對動詞中心語需要正確認識外，其相關論元的語義角色亦當逐一辨明 ，即結合傳統文字訓詁與語法分析，避免僅從訓詁層面說解字義，而是配合句法結 構進行論證。本計劃預計以三年為期，對於甲骨刻辭戰爭田獵刻辭進行系統性、全 面性的研探，主要有以下七個面向: (1)甲骨刻辭戰爭田獵刻辭的文例整理與斷代。 (2)甲骨刻辭戰爭田獵動詞論元之語義角色分析。 (3)甲骨刻辭戰爭田獵動詞類型與分類標準之建立。 (4)甲骨刻辭戰爭田獵動詞句法關係與語義角色的相互關係。 (5)以語法角度綜合整理與分析戰爭田獵動詞相關字詞考釋。 (6)甲骨刻辭戰爭田獵動詞文例全面解讀與譯解。 (7)甲骨刻辭作為上古漢語的特質，藉由其他出土與傳世文獻進行對照。 本計劃擬以上諸面向進行研討，最終目標設定為撰寫以句法結構研究甲骨刻辭的一 部專書。<br> Abstract: Apart from being integral to the studies of Chinese characters’ etymologies, oracle bone inscriptions as written records are vital material for researches on Chinese language used in antiquity. The former explains and analyzes the forms, meanings and usage of characters, while the latter investigates the grammatical structure by induction, advancing our understanding of related linguistic aspects, such as word order and whether oracle bone inscriptions were interrogative sentences. However, the combination of the two fields has received surprisingly little scholarly attention, and systematic discussions in this regard remain wanting. The consequence has become apparent in the discrete, case-based studies that lack integrity and wholeness whether in terms of character explanation or grammatical analysis. To remedy this deficiency, this project aims to collate and examine the usage of oracle bone inscriptions concerning war and hunting with a particular focus on verbs, so that the thematic relations and semantic relations can be scrutinized and confirmed. An argument assumes its semantic role by virtue of the verb, the part of the utmost importance in a sentence. In this process, the semantic roles of pertinent arguments should be elucidated in addition to a good grasp of verbs. To put it another way, this goal can be achieved not so much by character explanation alone as by the synthesis of classical Chinese philology and grammatical analysis. Accordingly, the systematic and comprehensive analysis of this three-year project is mainly targeted on the following seven aspects of oracle bone inscriptions concerning war and hunting: (1) Collation and periodization; (2) Analysis of the semantic roles of verbs in arguments; (3) Establishment of the classification criteria for different types of verb; (4) Investigation into the relations between the syntax and semantic role of verbs; (5) Grammar-based, synthetic collation and analysis of philological detail about verbs; (6) Comprehensive interpretation and translation of texts containing related verbs; (7) Comparative analysis of these oracle bone inscriptions and associated archeological finds and ancient literature.
