2008-08-012024-05-15https://scholars.lib.ntu.edu.tw/handle/123456789/665750摘要:隨著經濟發展,醫療科技進步,國人平均壽命逐年延長,女性更比男性長壽。但另一方面,高齡化社會的到來與生育率的下降,也意味著台灣正步上西方先進國家的後塵,面臨勞動力短缺的困境。國人中高齡族群勞動參與率持續低迷,提升中高齡人口之勞參率應是因應勞動市場人力需求的一種可能方案,而資深員工的經驗傳承,也能幫助企業組織有效地推行知識管理,並提升人力資源的素質。另從個人適應角度來看,中高齡人口持續積極的職場參與也是廣泛社會參與的重要一環,更可為老年生活注入活力,豐富內涵,於個人於社會都是一大利多。 鑑於此,本計劃將延續前期研究(「台灣民眾對老人(化)的態度、影響因素,及與行為意向之關聯」)的成果,將已發展完成之「對老人的態度」概念應用於職場情境,從「態度影響社會參與/互動」的框架來探討影響中高齡人口人力資源運用之相關因素,並分別從雇主意願、中高齡者自身意願、及工作團隊中其他成員之意願三個視角,來分析中高齡者勞動參與之機會與挑戰,期能使學術研究結合管理實務,亦為促進中高齡人力資源運用的相關政策提供實證證據的參考。<br> Abstract: Economic development and advancement in medical science have helped to extend the life expectancy of people in Taiwan; on the other hand, at the wake of an aging society and dropping birth rate, Taiwan is facing a serious labor shortage. As the labor participation of senior citizens in Taiwan is low and constantly declining, encouraging older people to stay in the labor force can be an effective way of meeting the market demands. Furthermore, transmission of experiences by senior workers will help organizations effectively implement knowledge management and improve the quality of human resources. Finally, continuous participation at work is pivotal to social participation and personal well-being for the individual. The present project thus builds upon its forerunner entitled “Attitudes towards the aged (aging), their correlates, and relations with behavioral intentions among Taiwanese people”, to apply the newly developed construct of “attitudes towards the aged” to the work situation. Specifically, we will take the perspective of attitudes affecting social interaction, to explore factors influencing the labor participation of senior citizens in Taiwan. Multiple angles will be taken, including the vantage points of employers, older workers, and other team members, to understand both opportunities and challenges for labor participation of older workers.
