The photoluminescence intensity of Eu 2+ emission increased with increase in the doping concentration of Eu 2+ up to 15 at %. The photoluminescence intensity of BaMgAl 10O 17: Eu 2+ also varied with the EG: CA ratio. SEM investigation indicates that the sol-gel derived particles exhibited an irregular shape. The EPR studies showed that Eu 2+ ions occupied the sites with non-cubic symmetry in the prepared phosphors.Barium magnesium aluminateEPRPhosphorsSol-gelSol-gel preparation and characterizations of europium-ion doped barium magnesium aluminateconference paper2-s2.0-33746095739https://www.scopus.com/inward/record.uri?eid=2-s2.0-33746095739&partnerID=40&md5=92c029a52fefe033ee101be2851c7430
